Tim Glotzbach is Director of the Student Craft Program at Berea College. As an experienced arts professional, he has invested over 39 years as a professor, administrator and consultant for arts-related economic development. Tim’s passion for the creative process has led him to focus his career on advancing educational and economic opportunities for both students and craft professionals. Prior to his position at Berea College, Tim was Dean of Heritage & Humanities at Hazard Community & Technical College and Founding Dean and Director of the Kentucky School of Craft in Hindman, KY. Tim holds a BS degree in Art from Indiana State University and an MFA from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. His teaching career began at the State University of New York-Oswego and he spent 21 years as Professor of Art at Eastern Kentucky University. He continues to serve on the boards of both national and regional arts organizations.
